Abby Winkworth

Abby Winkworth works with leadership teams in small and mid-sized law firms to help them step back, gain clarity and make confident decisions about the future of their business.

With more than 25 years' experience in professional services, Abby has been a Partner, Chief Operations Officer and Commercial Director in both SME and Top 60 law firms. She understands first-hand the pressures facing managing partners and leadership teams, including balancing client service, people, performance and profitability, often all at once.

Today, Abby advises law firms and accountancy practices on improving performance, driving revenue growth and managing change. She supports firms through merger discussions and integration, partner alignment, operational improvement and strategic planning.

Abby is also Chair of the Leadership and Management Section of the Law Society of England and Wales, where she champions stronger management capability and sustainable firm leadership across the sector.

She is a trustee of The Good Impact Group, a UK charity that connects charitable organisations with skilled marketing and business development volunteers.
